Creating value in the Board is one definitive way of producing results and providing long-term shareholder value. The Professional Directors’ Program (PDP) is an intensive five-module program designed for corporate directors, senior management, and reputational agents upholding good corporate governance. The program aims to provide the participants with the following:
Training in the collegial role of the board and how the board can add value to the organization and its stakeholders;
- Key learning representing an authoritative body of knowledge on corporate governance;
- Effective tools and techniques to assist directors in addressing today’s governance issues;
- Benchmarks that enable directors to assess their practices and measure them up against global standards and best practices.
This globally benchmarked course is relevant and practical as it is written and presented by corporate directors themselves. It adopts an expanded version on the Internationally-recognized Tricker Model as the framework. As the course is culture-bound, it stress absolute importance of corporate culture, ethics, and social responsibility.
THE FACILITATORS The PDP is facilitated by a team of respected professionals and experts in their field of endeavor. They are well known for creating much value in the Boards where they have served, This ICD Program is handled by Dr. Jesus P, Estanislao, Phd, Chairman of ICD and former Secretary of Finance of the Republic of the Philippines. He is accompanied by another Founding Fellow of the Institute, Dr. Cesar G. Saldaña, Phd, Principal of PSR Consulting, Inc. whose expertise include risk management.
