TOPIC DESCRIPTION

The City of San Fernando has successfully implemented the Performance Governance System (PGS), the governance tool founded on the Harvard model and developed by the ICD to translate broad strategy to concrete outcomes. With its practical tools and concrete milestones, the PGS serves as guide for companies and institutions who seek to efficiently and methodically institutionalize CG. The end goal is to fully embed and integrate a governance culture within the institution.

 

Mayor Oca will talk about the city’s journey from compliance to performance and the challenges they encountered along the way.

 

To supplement his talk, Ms. Sonia Sotto will discuss the benefits of the implementation of the Balanced Scorecard.
