Bobby Peralta started his development banking career in 1976 at the
Development Bank of the Philippines (DBP) where he worked for 15 years. He
worked briefly with the International Development Training Institute in
Washington, D.C. He later joined ADFIAP as a consultant and subsequently
became its Deputy Secretary, a position he has held for 13 years. He has
held the position of ADFIAP Secretary General for 5 years and has recently
been named as the WFDI Secretary General, the second Filipino to do so.

He has had extensive international exposure having worked on various
capacity-building programs and events with multilateral and development
organizations such as the World Bank, the ADB, the U.N.'s International
Trade Center, USAID's Environmental Partnership, Germany's InWEnt, Japan's
AOTS, and the Washington, D.C.-based CIPE. He has written and presented
papers on corporate governance, sustainable development and development
banking in numerous international forums and conferences.

He is a FELLOW of the ICD.
